Camp starts at 9am through 3pm. Drop off 1/2 hour before and after is acceptable. Campers get two lessons per day in both ground skills and riding. Snacks and bottled water are available but send a bag lunch for your camper. There will be games and crafts. Lunch is not included but drinks are available. Helmets and boots are required. Each camper is assigned their own horse. There is a max of 3:1 camper/ counselor ratio. Beginner through intermediary level of experience. Lessons are grouped according to experience so all campers progress. Campers who are involved through the entire summer program have the opportunity to participate in a horse show at the end of the season.
Camp participants develop self confidence, and safety skills, team work, responsibility and compassion for animals and nature. While having fun!
