Stone Ridge Stables is a small 8 stall horse facility located in picturesque central Maine. We sit on 50 acres of land with 12 acres of horse pasture surrounded by the farms historical stone walls. We are a short 15 min drive from down town Dover-Foxcroft and 40 minutes from Bangor.
Mike and Stacia care and manage the horses of Stone Ridge Stables together. Both having flexible schedules, they offer the horses close supervision. Keeping a small herd of horses gives the advantage to know each horse individually. We have experience caring for clients locally and out of state. We manage our own hayfields, so horses get the best forage this area can offer.
Our goal is to provide a facility that brings horses and riders together in a peaceful, relaxing but cerebrally stimulating environment. The primary discipline is dressage, but all disciplines are welcome. There are many opportunities to further your equestrian skills in a noncompetitive atmosphere.
