What your horse wants you to know:

" I don't care about blue ribbons."

" Fun, Fairness and Firmness and not necessarily in that order"

" Safety is always a priority of mine"

"Relationships are important to me"

"Because I don't speak english does not mean I'm not trying to communicate with you"

" I haven't read the books but I can read your intentions very well"

" I may learn from repition but it can also bore me"

" Preperation is everything to me from my first moments of human contact through advanced levels of training"

"Respect is earned through trust"

"Leadership is established through respect"

" There is more to me than what you see on the outside"

When we take the time to see things through our horses perspective and stop anthromorphizing them, we are on our way to a productive relationship with our horses.

I'm still attending clinics this summer with Jean Luc Cornille.  For more information on training your horse with respect to their biomechanical properties visit www.scienceofmotion.com\
