As a child I rode endless hours bareback aboard my pony Queenie.  I have been in love with horses ever since then.  As a young adult I graduated with a degree in Nursing and currently work for EMMC in ICU/ PICU.  When I am not nursing I am with my horses. After  12 years of dressage schooling and working with many great trainers, I have developed an effective means of schooling my own horses.  I have competently shown through second level.    Stacia has assisted riders in the training of their horses in dressage. 

1994-1998: Started dressage schooling at a local barn.  Started competing and training young horses.   Won several EMDA and MDS championships. 

1998-2000:  Lessons w/ Vitor Silva of Sons of the Wind Farm.  Through numerous longe lessons I developed an effective seat.  I also had the opportunity to ride and observe high school trained Lusitano Stallions.

2001-2004: Continued dressage training with local judge and instructor Louise Trimble.  Lessons on Grand Prix schoolmaster .  

2004-2006: Schooling second level and  is reschooling  standardbred mare in basic dressage.  Lessons with FEI instructor and judge Carol Poulin-Taylor.  Developed effective skills at working horses in hand to build trust and relaxation between horse and rider. 

2006--2007  Schooling third level started  clinics with Jean Luc Cornille Olympic level trainer and master of biomechanics.  Developed an effective knowlege base in biomechanics to address those needs in daily training. Started local lower level judging and working towards becoming an  L dressage judge.

Stacia is an MDS bronze and silver medalist and current member of USDF and EMDA.                                          

My philosophy  for training is :  working with the horses psychology and  physiology to produce a safe  mount that can happily do their work and have  developed the basics for a long healthy career.  Stacia keeps her positive attitude  when teaching.  She is goal oriented and focuses on developing the riders position and good basics.   Stacia is available for dressage lessons.  Contact her at  Stacia@stoneridgestables.net  FMI.
